In short: wash satin and velvet cold on a gentle cycle, never tumble-dry, and let knitwear dry flat. Most of our fabrics are polyester-based: colour-fast and low-maintenance — the tips below keep them looking new.
Satin
Wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle, preferably in a laundry bag. Hang to dry, then iron inside-out on the lowest setting. The soft sheen stays as long as you avoid high heat.
Velvet
Velvet dislikes pressure: never iron the pile flat. Hang the dress in a steamy bathroom or use a steamer, and store it hanging with room around it.
Knitwear
Wash cold, remove promptly and dry flat on a towel — hanging stretches the shoulders. Pilling? A knit comb removes it in minutes; it is normal at friction points and not a defect.
The honest note
Our garments are largely polyester-based. That has real advantages — colour-fast, crease-resistant, easy to wash — and one rule: keep heat low. Skip the dryer and your favourites last for years.
